Default could it be the tps?

Lol. One thing after another. So I'm about to make a turn into my bloxk and car just starts to rev up and back down. I park it to let it idle and sits like at 1300-1500rpm and surges up and down. Read a few threads and I think that my problem is similar? Haven't checked the fp, ill check that when I get off of work.

A scanner will tell you right away if it is a TPS problem. You can watch the IAC, too. Vacuum leaks can cause idle problems, as well.

ugh... googling around and reading stories of people w/ almost similar scenarios, and led them to replacing the coil, then leading to the opti!!! getting worried here. new msd wires and new plugs be the cause of anything? i mean ran a few days just fine, and all the sudden this happens?

still learning, but i just replaced my opti, and my car was doing the SAME thing. it would surge real bad at idol (not all the time, but somewhat consistantly). no vaccum leaks, new tps, nothing. now it runs fine with the new opti. just my .01

well replaced coil so far, and helped it from dieing when it would warm up and dropped idle a little bit. now just the surging is left. have an iac on order. if that doesn't cure it gonna have to swallow that bill for that damn opti

wow..... there was a wire in one of the plugs on the pass side of the intake came out of it's splice. replaced the pigtail plug and spliced the wires together properly and car is running fine. borrowed scanner and it pulled p0122 and p0100 and now its running fine and no codes so far! crossing fingers and hope it'll be fine. Only thing left is it would pop through the intake sometimes... means it's running lean if im correct?
