It runs to a hard line that runs down by the frame and back up to the heater core/firewall area. If your planning on taking this out it has a few bolts to a bracket that holds all of this in place. This hose can be heat damaged by exhaust it seems. It is a pain in the ***. I have seen people also bypass this hose.

how could you bypass that hose isn't it a neccessity to be able to bleed it and for your heater core?

not really, you just lose heat function of the heater. And you have to eliminate or loop the output of that portion of the water pump. You can bleed air out of the system at other valve.
