Gears with A3?
Gears with A3? I am ready to do some gears in my car (finally) but I'm not sure what to go with with my TH350 setup. I have a 3300-3700 stall nitrous converter (pretty loose for the sauce). I don't mind getting a taller tire if necessary, but throw some ideas at me please 
We normally run a 3.73-4.10 depending on the combo.

The most important item on an auto car is the stall more so then a gear.
do you have info as to shift extension and rpm through the traps now?
I would use that info to help determine a gear and maybe talk to your converter company and see what they suggest.

It's just going to be a 200 shot for the time being until the new bottom end is built. RPM through traps at the moment are anywhere between 5,200-5,400 rpm's (in 3rd - on motor) with a 3.42 rear. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll call my converter company later today.
