Does anybody have a starter?
Does anybody have a starter? Hey guys. I just blew my clutch the other day. I got a new disc and ground the flywheel and pressure plate by hand because they wer good and flat, everything looks great. I had to do this because im a mechanic and am very broke. I was putting it all back together when my starter solonoid twisted while tightening the power cable nut. Now the solonoid is trash and i need a new starter. Does anyone have one they would sell me for cheap? Or maby even donate if i pay shipping? I'm seriously dead broke lol. I hate life right now.
Yeah I think so, I'll try and scrape up some money, it may take a bit though, i just spent 4 of my last 6 bucks today on renting a stupid clutch alignment tool. I really appreciate it man, more than you know.
Ok I got a new starter. Now I need to know how long I should take it easy on the clutch. It's not new but the flywheel and pressure plate are all cross hatched like a new one now, so I want to break it in right. It does feel nice and smooth, and grabs really well.
