is it a vented opti?
u dont need a long dowel pin for a non-vented opti, as long as the dowel pin gets throgh the cam sprocket, it should be fine,,,someone correct me if im wrong

I dont know how it broke...i had the car for 7 months and have been driving the car like that ...it had a back fire and miss but that was it so i decided replace the opti becaus i had already relpaced the pulgs, wires and coil....when i took the opti off i saw the pin was broken it surprised me that the car was runing and the rotor was just lose in the cap the 2 screws had came off....yea its vented ...the guy i got it from told me its a lt4 hot cam i dont know if that makes a diff...but i tryed knocking it in so i can replace it but it does not move so know im drilling it out
