I pulled mine and picked up 1mph my one pass. Of course it was getting colder out so I can't attribute the whole gain to that. I'll have to test it out because now you got me interested in knowing.
yep I lost 6mph from the previous pass. I out treed and 60ft him and the car just didnt make any power. I supose that could of been when my rocker broke, but im not sure.

Damn thats a real shame man. Considering I went faster without the filter I think that the rocker must have broken during that pass since you lost so much. Your situation has me thinking about switching to the Hi-Tech stainless ones and sell these Pro Mags while I'm ahead when I get the extra cash.
But in all fairness, I want to point out that the race before the finals, before you pulled your air filter, we were up against each other, and had similar reaction times and 60', yet I still won and out mph-ed you. Not tryin to rub it in or anything, just pointing it out
By the way, for the record, my "killer" LE cam is barely bigger than yours. It's 236/236 @.050, .593 lift, 107 lsa. And my heads are not LE, they are an older set (2003-04ish) CHS heads, thin 561 castings, and flow a bit less than an average set of LE2s. Also, my 350ci is not a stock bottom end, its got heavy Probe pistons and Scat 7/16 I-beam rods

Our cars were an awesome pair, but I had the filter back in after the first 2 qaulifing runs that didnt go well and the car picked up a ton with it in. Thats what pisses me off!!! I decided to pull it again after I knew the car ran better with it in.
I consider my cam a pretty killer LE cam, but yours was better. Also I know your heads arent LE but must flow very good!

If you had won, you would have deserved it 100% also, especially considering you were battling some clutch woes.

I've got a few things to do to mine, but I should make it out to the track again sometime in Oct to shoot for a new PB. Unfortunatly, I'll still likely be faced with 1500+ DA. Doesn't get much lower than that anytime of year around here.
Just waiting on a call 2 see if I have someone to go with. Track isnt to close so I want my buddy to drive his truck that way I can drive up there on my street tires and switch at them track.
