Great numbers! When I first saw the pics of the motor I'd swear that wasn't a lt1.

Amarillo, TX has a altitude of 3676 ft, the dyno uses actual barometric pressure not sea level corrected pressure to correct the readings.

A 26.40 in-Hg reading at that altitude is sea level corrected to 30.14 in-Hg which is about in line with the sea level corrected barometer readings in Amarillo that day

The temp and humidity are probably close for what the conditions would be like inside of a building in Texas at that altitude and time of year.

You're not in South Carolina anymore Toto!

Edit: We spent most of a lifetime in SC (in 4 years!), and that was at an altitude of 30 ft MSL.

I guess I'm just used to seeing weather station reports that correct it back. I've just never seen a 1.15 correction factor, even when I dyno'd when it was over 99 degrees it was only a 1.07. Oh well, nice numbers!

I was just about to post an explanation just like that. Good old altitude, pressure, etc calculations can take your head for a spin.

Regardless, great numbers Brady. It's great to see how far the car has cone. Can't wait to see you get it dialed in. I'll get the dyno video up in a day or two.

Easley, SC = 1100ft
Amarillo, TX = 3676ft

Over 3 times the altitude has a lot to do with that correction factor.... hence why he only runs 127mph.

Saturday's Density altitude was 6500ft in the heat of the day, at 3650 altitude.

If you notice most of the guys at higher elevations will post DA numbers after there track times to all the guys at sea level understand that are cars are not off pace, i guess i need to start posting DA numbers with dyno sheets too.

Thanks for all the props guys, the car has come a long ways from its first dyno of 285hp 6 years ago.. I'll get it back on the dyno in teh next two weeks and dial it in , the other night was punching numbers in the XFI for 5 minutes and hoping to get close.

What hood is that?! I'm going with a single plane (Victor jr.E) and a wilson elbow this winter and I am trying to get a good looking ram air hood that will clear it. I just found it! My cars the same color/ almost year and that hood looks sick on the car!!! Do you have any info on it?
