Default Internal vs External Balancing

I know the difference between these two. But is there a reason doing one over the other?

Builder preference really. My motor is externally balanced.

Although if you are planning on going with a supercharger, an internally balanced rotating assembly is preferred.

you're running a hamonic balancer not dampner upfront joe?
