pace setter long tubes and wires
pace setter long tubes and wires hey i bought pace setter longtube headers and pace setter y pipe and when i got the headers installed i picked up the car and the header was actually rested and rubbing my steering knuckle .... i had the guy take them off heat them up and bend tube slightly to get to fit in there has anyone else had this problem ? by the way i have a 95 camaro convertible top .... if that means anything with the fitament .... the other problem is that one of the plug wires got burned up or pinched i really dont know what happened all i do know is i can look inside of engine bay and see a arc comming from the wire... should i relocate the wires or is it just a rare chance that something happened to it?? also the guy that installed them told me to get better plugs and plug wires .... after all that is fixed i will be tuning it at PSI in glen burnie md i just wanted to know a good set of plugs and wires to get .... any suggestions or input will help thanks alot
the rubbing the steering knuckle was an issue with those headers. i thought they fixed that issue a few years ago. I personally didnt have that problem with my pacesetters. but anyways, the wires can be routed in the factory location. Just use some zip ties to keep them away from the headers. Take your time doing it so they never burn up again.
