I need a weght verification of an lt1

Im trying to decide if i can swap my lt1 into, my bmw but im afraid the weight difference is too much, can someone verify for me if the 576.4lbs i was quoted for the lt1 is correct? also how much would a set of lightweght pistons and rods bring it down?

LT1's weigh right about 535-575 lbs more closer to 535 lbs if you have the alumin heads

If your worried about weight why not go with ls1 engine they are closer to 480 lbs
