Default TH400 with 4.30 gears?

im preping for a future large turbo or nitrous build and going with a TH400 the first time around, the car has 4.30 gears in the 12bolt because its a 6spd currently on 27" tires. is this going to be a problem when i switch to the TH400? top speed in 3rd should be 121 not taking into account converter slip or the tires growing on the big end. once the motor is built i should be able to spin to 7k and a 27" tire should take me to 126 but again this isnt taking converter slip into play. ill be using a spragless Vig converter. anyone with some insight? i can always go to a 28 as well

Id think a turbo would want a higher (numerically lower) gear, but thats just me. Its all gonna depend on the final setup.

for your current set up the 4.30 are fine. when you go to a turbo you will want to switch to a 3.42 or 3.55.
