Default Spark plug gapped oddly

Hey everyone. I'm swapping spark plugs in my lt1 and plug 1 is gapped at .065. Is this from old age?

If the electrode is excessively worn, then I assume yes.

If you have a Platinum or Iridium tipped plug, it may have fallen off... But I think the gap would probably be closer to .100" if that was the case.

These look to be stock plugs. Anyway, all 8 were swapped. On some of them, the threads were a little oily, but not the tips. Is it normal?
