Default Engine oil dipstick removal

I want to remove it for the header installation.

Does it just pop out? Or does a bolt hold it in place?

There is a bracket with a bolt that is located on the side of the block near the deck. Take out that bolt and it will pull out, may require some wiggling. Be careful not to over do it and crack the tube.

Guys, the heads aren't even back on the car yet lol

I am in the middle of an oil pump swap so I thought I might as well remove it while I am down there.

Expecting an O-ring seal to be there with the tube, does it usually tear during removal?
