new exhaust probs

well i just took off my lm1 exhaust for a 3" flowmaster catback. well when i got the car back from the shop that did it, i noticed it idles rough now. also its been a few hundred miles and it smells like maybe a coating on the exhaust or something. i never had a new exhaust smell before. i was told maybe the o2 sensorss went bad. what do you guys think? the rpms at idle dont jump around or anything they stay at a even 500rpm. thanks!

My car started smelling funny then it blew out one of the Cats. Sounded like I threw a rod, the catalyst broke apart and was rattling in the cat shell I thought the motor was done. You might want to see if the cats are clogging-up on ya....

theres your problem right there lol. if the smell is of gas, id lean towards front O2s. if not id say the cats are going bad
