Default Clunk driving me CRAZY!

I have a 97 Z28 auto with the old steel driveshaft.

I'm having a problem I'm trying to figure out. When coasting to a stop(stop sign, red light) there is a "clunk" sound right under the center console/transmission area. I can also hear the same noise sometimes when letting off the gas while driving down the road. I got under the car tonight and all I found was I could wiggle the driveshaft up and down and side to side a VERY SMALL amount. Torque arm wont move with me pushing up and down on it. Transmission mount has already been replaced.

check your y pipe or exhaust, it could be loose and touching the floor board when down shifting ect. just an idea for you.

If it is none of your mounts and all nuts and bolts are snug...check your torque converter and everything that goes with it...
