Default #8 injector not firing?

Well did the mothod where you unhook each plug one at a time and plug back iin while running seems the the #8 plug didn't affect the idle any. Wiring harness screwd? Bad injector? I'm still chasing that p0200 code still =/

Damn I thought you got it all figured out? Have you made sure the injector plug is all the way seated and the wire harness isnt split?

Yea. I checked it out and made sure. I'm borrowiing a scanner tomorrow to dig deeper into it. I'm gonna try swapping around injectors if that changes anything. I know I was going to get ahold of my tuner to get it dynotuned but I guess that isn't going to happen just yet.

Did you take out #8 spark plug and look at it see whats going on?

Most of the time if you pull the plug and idle doesnt change that means you arent getting spark to that cylinder.

Were you refering the plug wire being pulled? I pulled the plug off the injector and dint change the idle. If I get home earlier enough I'm going to pull the sparkplug.

Yes im talking about spark plug wire, if you pull it off while its running you should get a change in idle. If not you have a spark issue or possibly fuel. Mostly a bad spark plug thats what ive seen.

Alright. Ill take a pic of the spark plug when I get the chance, I juust get off of work too late and its just too dark. I'm getting ahold of a scanner tomorrow and I'll drive around and write down what the readings are. Any particular readings I should jot down that would be helpful?

You can also use a noid light to check if #8 injector is working. Autozone might lend them.

I didn't do anything but free untangle the injector plug wiring and made sure everything was plugged in. And voila shes fixed lol. Knowing my luck it'll do something right before I get it on the dyno. I'm getting the racetronix fuel pump kit now, I'm not feeling comfortable with the stocker.

Yeah and your lucky to make it passed 100K miles with stock pump. Racetronix is a better pump, and if you can get that harness it will increase voltage to the pump and better ground.
