LT1 overheating
the car had a check engine light so i replaced the ECT sensor and the light went away but the fans still don't work automatically.....
i was wondering what you guys would suggest me to do next? i was thinking about sending my pcm to an guy online at lt1pcmtuning.com. has anyone had experience with this guy?
is something in the pcm messed up and i'm just gunna have to run manual switches for the fans or would a tune fix it?
Thanks!
The reason I say this is because for some odd reason mine weren't turning on just like yours, only if you turn on the AC. We plugged in a scanner on the obd2 port and turned the fans on through there. So that leads me to believe it may be an option for you to tune the fans for "always on".
its a 96 auto Z28.
has anyone used this lt1pcmtuning.com before?
i'm thinking about possibly buying a separate thermostat sensor and bypassing the whole stock system and having the low fan turn on about 180 and the high fan to turn on about 190....
