Default Hp gains from installing an X pipe

Just wanted to know how much my car would gain from an x pipe. Anyone had any gains from doing this mod?

prolly not much vs a decent 3" catback at your level

I dont even have converters. Just two stright pipes so I was wondering if it would create more back pressure.

It's not so much a matter of backpressure as it is scavenging.
In some cases, adding an X pipe in a dual exhaust can help draw spent gases out of the
combution chamber which allows a greater charge of fresh air/fuel for the next cycle.

I noticed a pretty good ***-dyno difference from going open headers to X-pipe.

ahh I saw dynomax exhaust in your sig and figured you had a dynomax catback.

a crossover pipe will definately help with low end and the car will sound ALOT better. straight pipes sound like garbage imo

its tough to say how much the gains would be but an X or H pipe would benefit you quite a bit. I agree with the posts above. X2.

You may not notice a bunch of gain however as mentioned prior it will help scavenge the exhaust out.i have had my TDs for a while now and would not change for anything.....i run my car in crappy racing weather 90% of the time but as far as i am concerned she runs damn good especially compared to other Lt1s in my area hell Ls1s too!
