LT1 Knock I drive a 94 z m6 and I have a knock sound coming from the tranny. The car sounds good but the more i rev it, the louder the knock gets. I take my car almost to redline and it feels like the shifter gets stuck. What do you guys think this can be??
sounds like you better start saving up for a trany rebuild.

I actually just bought this tranny from a friend and it was working on his camaro, it sounds like its coming from the bellhousing i need to double check on that, you can even feel a little vibration on the clutch pedal, but yeah its more of a cluck but hopefully its not something major

Yeah the clutch kit came with the pilot bearing too, it makes the sound in neutral just not as loud as when your driving or reving it.
Yeah i asked the mechanic if he tightened everything to spec and he said he did. Do you think maybe a cracked bellhousing can cause this??
