Default question about true duals

i just had true dual exhaust dumped at the axle on my 94 z28. i have no headers. and the car kinda sounds like a pickup truck. do i need to put a x-pipe on so it will sound better????

A crossover pipe like an X or H will make it sound much better IMO.

ok thats what i though. does it matter what kind of x pipe?

Nope just get the right pipe size. I personally bought the Summit 2.5" kit for $70 or so.
