valve stem seals and 918s parts question
what is the correct size for the valve stem seals on 374 heads?? .500" or .530"
also, i know that these parts are used for 918s on lt1 applications,
CCA-611-16
CCA-795-16
CCA-4705-16
but do i really need the locaters (CCA-4705-16)?? it seems the heads already have some??

You need to use the 918 entire kit on ur heads and for the valve stem seals just go to autozone and tell them year make and model and grab the seals. Or if you really want gm go to the dealer and buy them their.

Part numbers for correct 918 setup:
+.05" locks:249-614-16*
Spring locators:63-4705-16
Springs:249-26918-16
Retainers:63-795-16*
Above are Jeg's part numbers
those are the ones that will give you 1.75ish installed height which is the most you can get out of a stock valve length lt1 head with 918s.
