How do u remove/install the Dowel Pin ?

On the LT1 camshafts, Is this pin screwed in or is it just in there? I tried taking it out but didn't wanna do any damage so I'm here to ask the experienced guys. Thanks a lot.

Press fit. Take it to a machine shop if you don't know how to remove it.

Thanks for the info, reason I'm asking is for someone to tell me how, if it's possible to do it without special tools I'll do it, if it needs a special tool then I don't know, but that's why I asked here.
Good to know it's pressed it, has anyone taken some of these off?

A slide hammer with a drill chuck like apparatus to grab the pin would do it.
