Default Quick question

I installed my timing chain and the dots are a little off is this exceptable?? the crank dot didn't show up that good in the picture but you can see it. the crank gear is at 12 o'clock and the cam sprocket is at 6 o'clock the teeth are almost pointed directly at each other.
thanks
