Running rough
Running rough Alright here's what had happened...
Car is running fine, but tune wise it's off due to my MAF.
-Ordered a mail in tune from www.lt1pcmtuning.com
-Datalog is showing the passenger side o2 isn't properly functioning, and the IAT sensor is reading -40* all the time.
-Replace both sensors, car still runs fine.
-Tuner suggests cleaning MAF with cotton swabs and alcohol
-Has trouble cranking, runs a little rich it seems
-Datalog shows drivers side o2 not properly functioning and the knock sensor is pulling timing.
-Car starts cranking fine
-Replace the other o2 sensor and knock sensor
-Car hesitates and runs rough after the first 20-30 seconds of driving. If the SES light comes on, the car runs a LITTLE better. Also clears up at like 4500+ rpm and WOT.
-Try old sensors to rule out a defective sensor, runs the same. Try new MAF to rule out MAF, runs the same. Try reloading the tune, runs the same.

Reason idle smoothed out when check engine light came on is because it went back into open loop when it didnt see the O2 working. I had the same problem and it turned out to be a blown headgasket on the side where the O2 was failing. Do a compression check on that bank of cylinders.
