Will a 96 computer work on a 95 camaro, they are both lt-1 6pd. cars.

 

95 (OBD-I) and 96 (OBD-II) knock sensor are different. You will have to swap to the one that matches your computer. The 96 computer will complain about several emissions items that a 95 does not have (unless you tune them out), but in essence, it will work.

 

The 96 PCM will also be looking for a crankshaft position sensor and as shbox said emissions items, such as the EVAP solenoid.
