Default Heater Hose Leak

I sprouted a leak about 1/4 inch from the metal steam section. Can this section be reconnected to another hose or is there another metal section available that can be connected to a hose? I'm trying to avoid replacing the whole hose which is expensive and hard to install.

Depending on where the hose is leaking exactly (where?), you can probably just find a splice connector and connect that way.

u can cut off the original clamp using a hacksaw, cut the damaged part of the hose, then reconnect it to the metal tube and use a regular clamp.
here is a pic of the metal tube after cutting the original clamps...hope this helps
