Default Help with 94 Formula, acting up

My Dad just bought a 94 formula that was not running good, per previous owner, Just started acting up one day driving down road so they parked it.

Previously owned by older couple. Never abused. 120k miles

Motor has never been into, completely stock.

Changed OPTI , coil, intake elbow( old one had crack), computer , Ignition control module and the car is still acting like its out of time when running.. Car doesnt turn over easy, just likes its out of time, It runs fine when you have it revved up past 1500- 1700 rpms... but as soon as you let off it will surge a bit up and down then die.

Any suggestions?

Could it have jumped time just going down the road, with only 120k miles I wouldnt think it would have.

Change plugs, wires, fuel filter and clean out the throttle bottle. If she's been sitting a while i'm sure she will need a tune up to freshen her up.

It sounds like a vaccum leak to me.

I had a line on the TB crack (on the backside!), so it was not visiable via a casual inspection, and my engine did that very thing.

I found it when I replaced the IAC motor on the TB.

Good luck!
