Default LT Pacesetters!

For the people who own them, have you noticed how close the pipe is to the steering shaft? Mine actually rubs it! Causing alot of vibration to my steering wheel!

Getting the longtubes in was the problem I had with the steering ****. Now that mine are on they don't rub against it. I had problems with mine rubbing against something else further down the line though.

Have you tried to file down the area on the steering shaft?

If your motor mounts are pretty bad that could cause it as well. I have one of my customers cars here. His car was the prototype for the 94-95 setup from Pacesetter. No rubbing going on.

i had new engine mounts when i installed my Pacesetter LTs and it never touched but it was too close, so i had to loosen the upper clamp bolt on the shaft and readjust the angle by pushing it a bit downward.
