Default Dumped Y pipe or true duals?

Ok, I'm posting this because I am shortly getting a full exhaust for my LT1 Camaro. I already have my mind set on getting Pacesetter longtubes. I had Hooker longtubes and a 3 inch true dual on my old LS1 car but I have not found a manufactured true dual system for the LT1. I dont want to bother building something custom and want something that will fit right away. Unless I could find one in the parts classified section it looks like I wont be able to get a true dual setup for my LT1 since i dont want to go custom.

My question is, in replace of that, how would a 3 inch y pipe with a dynomax bullet muffler and a turndown compare to a true dual setup? My eventual plans for this LT1 are full exhaust, stall, LE cam, LE1 heads. Im wondering if a dumped y pipe would yield me the same power as a dumped true dual setup. Im hoping to hear yes but im betting ill hear a no so lets have it.

Afraid not, true duals will always outflow a single exhaust dumped or otherwise.

What kind of hp difference are we talking?

I've heard LS1 true duals fit the LT1 if you cut the drivers side a few inches. Can anyone verify?

What about just running longtubes, then bullet mufflers and turndowns?

The LPP LS1 Stainless TD set up fits our cars with very little modification needed with slip connectors on your headers.

Basing this on what? Without qualifying the terms, this statement is just wrong.
