Oil pressure gauge problem

Oil pressure gauge problem I just returned from work, its pretty late at night here and the roads were empty, so I put some pedal to the metal. I reached 100mph, lights turned red at the traffic lights and I thought "lets test these new brakes", slammed the brake pedal full down and surely they stopped the car very quickly.
The Low Traction light got my attention as it came on (as any warning light would on the dashboard) and as I glanced at it, I saw my oil pressure needle dropping into the red
I know aftermarket senders are unreliable, but this is pushing it a bit. During normal driving, I still have 40psi and 50-60psi at WOT and cold idle, 20psi hot idle.
I drove the car up to 80mph and made another full powered stop, but this time the needle did not drop.

well, when your stopping that fast, all the oil in the oil pan is going to go towards the front, leaving the rear where the pickup is, lower on oil. Thus, less oil to be sucked up, and possibly a "dry" second in the oil system
