Default ob1 code 32

i was driving my camaro the other day and about 15 mins into driving it the ses light came on by the time i made it to my house about 5 mins later it went off. So the next day i grabbed the solus from my work and scanned it, found a code 32 egr system problem. so far i pumped vacuum to the egr valve with the engine off and it will not hold the vacuum it leaks out instantly. also it says the vacuum is suppose to be at the egr valve when the car is in drive off idle so i had a coworker hold the brake and rev to about 1000 rpms in gear and no vacuum reaches the valve. Is there any other things to check or test to see what is causing the code i dont kno for sure if im testing it right.

Code 32- EGR Failure. Check for proper vacuum from source to valve. Check all vacuum hoses. Check all electrical connections from egr to ecm. Check EGR for any sticking or binding, replace if necessary. Replace ecm only if all other checks have been verified.
It looks like you are on the right track with the checking out code. It soulds to me like the valve is bad or a hoseis crack, off, missing.... I deleted my EGR/AIR with my headers and turned off code 32 in my tune. I took off the valve and use a block off plate to coevr the hole.
