HELP!!Engine shutting down and gauges too
HELP!!Engine shutting down and gauges too Recently my car began to do this thing where when I 4k the motor sputters and loses power almost like its hitting a rev limiter, and the gauges lose power and a check engine light comes on. Once I let off everything goes back to normal. My opti is almost new, the pcm's rev limiter is tuned out, and I have an MSD 6AL box hooked up. I did a test and my alt is putting out 14v. I'm really not sure what to check next. I'm stumped.
have u checked simple battery cables and grounds? try that and make sure all ur ignition wiring like module connection opti connection is clean etc. if all else fails try bypassing the msd box.
