Default What is this and can i remove it?

Hey guys,

So i was just wondering what this piece was, I'm guessing its some like vacuum pump or solenoid or something? there was a vacuum line running from the air pump to this piece. When I was deleting my air, I was going off a guide for a 96-97 lt1, but i have a 94 Trans am and it is a bit different.

Here are the pics and i hope they work

That Electrical plug in on there was also attached to the electrical for the air pump.

That looks like the AIR pump recall components. If you're deleting the AIR pump, you can remove that as well.

i guess that picture for the recall is wrong though, that things says 96 and 97 only, but its on my 94.

Plus i don't have that vacuum solenoid like it shows on the bottom 3 pics.
