Default impala and fbody same maf?

The maf on our 95 impala ss is broke wondering if they are interchangeable off of fbodys even though they have different part numbers. also if anyone has one glady buy it off of you. thanks guys

The B-body MAF's are smaller I believe. If you use an F-body MAF in a B-body you may want to get it tuned because the calibrations are different.

i took the maf out of my dads 94 caprice 9c1 and put it in my camaro and the one from the 9c1 was smaller then the one in my camaro.

the Impala MAFs are definitely smaller and the calibration is way off.

The Impala MAF is the same one used on a lot of minivans, Luminas, and other smallish 6cylinder cars. So junkyarding for one should be easy.

In the mean time, you can drive with the bad one unplugged, the backup mode in the software is decent enough to get around on.

These MAFs have been discontinued by GM I believe, so if you go junkyarding, get a few.
