ive been running open lts for a few months now, and now inspection time has arrived i have a flowmaster catback, but i really want to go with true duals. the problem is how do i get it to pass inspection with no muffler/cat?no emissions for my year here in missouri. i see all these 00, 01 and 02 ls1 cars with true duals but no cats. im stumped. my religious dbag of a dad refuses to allow me to cut any corners where state emissions is concerned, if you catch my drift, so it has to be legal. how would you go about getting this damn thing legal? all my searches end up with another true dual setup w/o a cat, not helping me at all

 

its very simple...all you do is get some bullet cats and weld them right after the collectors.

 

nice, but should i use a 2nd cat? my car had a single cat from factory, wouldn't it fail inspection with 2 ?

 

where at in missouri? if i were you id just take it to someone i know and have them right an inspection

 

ya i tried that, couldnt find anyone to do it. apparently the pigs were catching on; everyone was too scared to pass it
