Naw, I probably leave it that way and find a black bowtie instead of the orange to place there. That's one thing I hate about the LT1 front end is that black part. Glad this one doesn't have it.

Very nice car! One thing, not sure why he mentioned the hood was an SLP piece. Unless they made two SS hoods it looks like a nice aftermarket one made by a company that is escaping me at the moment. The grille insert on the SLP is black plastic and taller with round ends.

One day there will be a patriot red hardtop car like that, with the LT1 out of my car in it...sitting in the garage next to my car which will have a supercharged LSX...ahhh dreams...

...all that will be sitting next to my 96-99 black GTS slammed out, haha, again...dreams...

I know what you mean man.. I'm investing hard core while in my freshman year or college because after college I'm getting an LS3 C6 A6 Thats always been my dream car. And doing slowly but surely motor/body work on my WS6 in the mean time.

It's all fun. Save up and find extra money in your budget and invest and your dreams can very well be achieved before you know it
