And as long as you don't plan on using them more than 3-4 times each ... you come out ahead LOL

I've stripped/broken a few cheapy loaner ones over the years ... I went ahead and bought a decent one last year.

I bought the j-tool years ago when I did my first cam swap, and it wasn't cheap. I have used it several times, so I guess it was worth it. That is the entire kit by the way.

I also put nuts on the back of the hub on the puller bolts so not to strip out the hub!

That is because you have absolutely no idea what you are looking for. Just think about it for a sec and get back to me, and thanks!

Never had any problems with a traditional 3-claw and a 4" 1/4" Extention..I use the same Puller for my 408 LS and it yanks that one off to.

I know it's been mentioned that you guys got it for cheap..I couldn't see spending $300-400 on something like that but I guess if you have money to **** around then go for it.

I have the 46 piece kit shown above. Used it dozens of times without issues. On tough pulls, load it up and a light tap from a lunk hammer will get everything moving. Just make sure everything's good and square, not crooked.

I thought this was a Dodge Neon puller:

I've used all sorts of pullers for LT1 hubs. The one I have before getting this works flawlessly, however it takes time to set up because all the pullers I've had required the bolts to be smaller than the hub bolt holes as well as making sure everything is square before pulling on it as well as making sure all bolts are accounted for to make pulling the hub is possible to having to go to the bolt store to buy bolts that have been lost to bending even Grade 8 bolts when trying to get a stubborn hub off...
To set this **** up and take a hub off and put back on takes seconds. Well worth the price. For those who want a cheap hub installer please consider this before going to the draw that houses your favorite mini sledge:

im pretty sure that both of those will do the same job and they are both under what you paid, one is chinese made, but works well and the other will pull a needle out of a bankers *** is made by OTC and its only 117 or on sale for $76.

Ive always used a regular hub puller with a bolt small enough to get to the bottom of the hole. Never taken anymore than 5 mins to get mine off with a impact gun. I could see it being useful if you did quite a few of them, but im just working on mine, so i see no need in spending the extra dollors.

You know it will work well or are you "pretty sure..."?

I borrowed the one in the 1st link from our dear member monster81 and it did not work. He tried it too, couldn't make use of it.

Then he said himself "what a waste of 100$ this kit is".
