Default Heater Core delete...

I recently had a problem with my heather core hoses and well, I live in South Texas where its only cold for like 3 days every year... So.. My questions is, how do you remove the heather core? And when it comes to the water pump connections.. do you plug them? or do you just bypass the hoses by connecting the bottom hose to the top hose on the water pump? Any pics or suggestions would be great.. Thanks!

Plug them or loop them. Either would work.

You will have to remove the dash and start unbolting as for waterpump loop lines.

You could simply leave the core in there and loop the lines with a double male connector. If you want to do a nice job of it have the lines on the water pump tigged shut and delete the whole line assembly. To remove the heater core you can just pull the glove compartment.

Yo , hold up on blocking those lines !

The pump need to circulate. Blocked likes causes the pump to cavitate. Read the latest CC article and it was discussed.

Just loop the line back.

Where can you get the double male connector?
