Fans wired to ignition?

Fans wired to ignition? Does everyone have there fans wired to their ignition switch? I know the ecm completes the ground with the green and blue off of the under hood relay. So there has to be positives which can simply be ran to a ignition "hot" wire?

I guess all you have to do is "ground" the green and the blue off of the fan relays and they will run continuously when ignition is on? I'm trying to cool this bitch down so I don't burn up my new silicon plug wires!
SLP sells a plug-in harness to manually turn fan's on and off. You don't have to cut the factory harness. When your not using the switch it automatically operates the fan's as normal. Heres the link.

Yea, if you ground the Green and Blue they will turn on when you turn the Key on. Constant run may not necessarily be good for them though. When I had my LT1 I had them on a manual setup cause the PCM stopped sending the signal. With the LS Engine it still works, I just kept the Switches as a backup.

It's ridiculous to have the fans on all the time. The engine needs heat to run properly and you have to generate the power to run the fans. Plus running them all the time is not going to save your plug wires, anyway. Buy some heat sleeves, if you think you need to protect them.
