drivers side valve cover removal instructions ok im not much of a mechanic but i know how to take off the valve cover but the AIR pump is in the way. What do I need to do to get that out the way?
Forgive me as I haven't had an AIR pump in years but I believe all you need to take out is 4 bolts for the AIR pump, unplug it, take a couple of wrenches and undo the fittings on the exhaust manifolds, take off any vacuum lines that are in the way, then take off the valve cover.
just disconnect the rubber hose that goes to the AIR valve on the header. Unscrew the fitting on the header just enough so you can turn it out of the way. Remove valve cover. you dont have to physically remove anything.
