good point here on keeping a BIG distance... its very easy to lock up the fronts with maybe 2 inches of contact patch per tire.

Yeah I'm still stuck in the 90s too. My Weld Pro Stars for track days when I take the FM5's off. Thinking of selling these and getting a set of black street lites tho..

I forget what the fronts are. The rears in that pic were 28" tall 275 hoosiers. They were slowing my car down so now I have 26" 275 hoosiers on it, looks way less aggressive but ran 12.3 with them

Here a few of my old opti machine. Still need to put lowering springs in the front to match the BMR rears. Maybe coilovers. Has yet to see the track yet since it was overhauled two years ago. I will go in the spring now that it has a perfect tune and e85. Enjoy

C.O.J, that car is beautiful man. I think it looks great as is but I can see where dropping the front like an inch would sweeten the deal.

Thanks. Yea, I am just picking small things to do to the car since there really isn't anything else to do other than maybe hit with the bottle. Most likely won't happen. Runs and drives perfect as is.

They are Billet Specialties RT Series. 17x7 front 15x10 rear.

Thanks! Yea the spokes have a sharper bigger spoke design that looks a little more modern in my opinion.

Did the rt wheels require any grinding of the calipers or wheel spacers?

As long as you order the F-Body specific ones they bolt on no problem. Here is a link for example. Notice in the part number there is a F towards the middle. This signifies it is F-Body specific. Hence the price difference as well. Hope this helps.

Another big plus to me is the finish on these aluminum wheels are the best I have ever seen. If you polish them once or twice a year they look chrome. I have had people ask me if they were. I do keep my car extremely clean too though. When you pull them out of the box new they look no different than the pictures on Summit and Jegs.

Posting in this thread got me thinking about my wheels and wanting to put a smaller center cap on the front. I don't run the rears to show off my Moser axle stickers. I just got off the phone with Billet Specialties and was told that the RT series is discontinued. If you want a set, call up Jegs or Summit and try to get them on clearance.
