Century tramission Just wondering if anyone out has used a Century transmission before and if so what kind of luck did you have with it. I have had my trans rebuilt 2 times different guys, and keep having the same problem. It will not shift right at the track, shift ok around town, just seems to take off in second or if it goes to first it does not shift up to second when I try to shift it at the track. I have a vig 3800 stall. Thanks for any input.
Century trans has been around for a very long time now......The owner Mike Kurtz is an awesome guy ,car builder,trans builder,fellow drag racer. He built trannys for many of us when i lived in houston. He was the first in the country to modify a syclone 4l60 back in the 90s,he built all of our 2004rs,700r4s and t400s all were in cars/trucks running 13s-mid 9s NEVER did we have an issue due to his build it was a part failure,bad pump,broken sun shell etc.. the man stands behind his WORK!
