A really nice built motor and or a power adder. Oh and full suspension, and a new rear, and really good tires, and a roll cage, and $$$$$$$$$$$!

Well I've got the built motor part done (fully forged, splayed 4 bolt mains 11.8:1 cr 383, LE3 heads, ported intake, 847 cam, EWP, 58mm tb and LS1 lid, EFI Connections ignition and 42# racetronics injectors) stage 2 built t56, billet lw flywheel and 6 puck clutch, S60 rear with relocation brackets. SLP weld in sfc, UMI k-frame and upper/lower a-arms, J&M lcas and adj phb, UMI adj TA and phb relocation kit Strano springs and Bilsteins and a 3" true dual exhaust. I plan on getting nitrous at tax time and running a 150 - 200 shot.

I should have stated that this car is my daily driver that's why I'm keeping all of the accessories and that's why I have the springs/shocks I have. At some point I may try a more drag oriented spring/shock package if I can't get the car to 60 ft. However I want to see what it can do with this suspension first before I make changes. As for wheels and tires right now I have 17" ZR1s with Nitto 555r tires and MT 295x40x17 drag radials but I'm also have 13" front brakes so I need a 17x4 front wheel and I haven't found anything yet.

Definitely going to need the nitrous. LE3 heads and the 847 won't even get you close.

But it's a good start for sure.

Spray that thing keep pilling it till you get there. Also with a m6 you need a good drag suspension.

Thanks guys, I haven't finished installing the new engine and ignition yet but once I do I'll get it dyno tuned so I'll have an idea of a starting point. But I figure my combo na with a good dyno tune should be good for 420 - 450 rwhp which should be good for mid to low 11's with good traction. Then I don't see why a 150 shot wouldn't get me to a 10.50, is my math off?

Hey RamAir what heads/cam are you running to get 11.1 @ 122 na and why don't you think my le3 heads/847 cam can run close to your na times?

I just want to point out a couple things that I didn't see that I would make sure to have on the car, sorry if I missed them in your post. If your running a full length T/A mounted to the trans I would suggest buying a relocation kit to mount it off the trans mount instead. That will prevent you from tearing the tail shaft off. Although not necessarily ideal for a daily driver, an anti-sway bar will be almost mandatory to get the car to launch straight and consistently.

Well for arguments sake lets say the car runs 11.50 on motor, a 150 shot wouldn't net me a 1 second reduction in et?

Possibley if everything works out right and suspension is set up right. Just saying with it being 6spd that it may take a little more, but there are some fast 6spds out there that have everything working right! Just get it done run it and let us know how it does.
