Default Another headers install question...

Okay drivers side is in except for the steering knuckle any idea for the best way to reinstall that bad boy?
Second to install the header on the passenger side should I remove all spark plugs? Do I also remove the oil dipstick or the transmission dipstick? I have the car lifted up as high as I can and Im trying to install from the bottom. No success yet....=(

the steering shaft should go back in, maybe tap it with a hammer or something. On the passenger side you need to remove the oil dipstick. The tranny dipstick can stay. Did you remove your starter also? It should go up in, after all that, maybe have to fight it a little but mine went in.

I didnt remove the steering knuckle by jet hots came in a 2 piece. For the passenger side remove the oil dipstick, you can take the plugs out if you want but i didnt, the bottom is the only way to get it in which i think your doing you just have to have the car high enough. I started my install in my driveway and ended up pulling my car to a shop with a lift and everything went much smoother. I dont know about the tranny dipstick my car was a M6. Just be patient hope this helps

Okay thanks guys for the help. So I guess Im going about it correctly. Oil dipstick is out but starter is still in. Maybe tomorrow I'll remove it.
I also removed the motor mount on the passenger side as well all tho I don't think I had to like the drivers side.
I have it jacked as high as I can I may need to buy a new jack that gets higher or maybe get a couple 2x4's to add height (kinda scary though).
Yea the steering knuckle was making me mad so I decided to start installing on the passenger side header.
I'll try again tomorrow...Ive never cursed so much in life. But Im almost there =)

I had to jack my passenger side up to just wouldnt go and i was scratching the coating so i said screw it and jacked the motor up and wow i kicked myself after doing it. Jacking the motor was soo much easier and less stressful it literally slide right into place. Do yourself a favour and just do it unless you have a hoist to manoever underneath
