Question fuel lines for carb conversion

For those who have converted to carb, what did you do with the fuel lines?

I was thinking if it were possible to run a braided line from after the fuel filter to the fuel pressure regulator and then a small line to feed the carb?

Haven't thought about the return line though.

well, thats basicallly how mine is, i have a holley blue pump, with braided line ran from the pump to the regulator,set at 6 psi, and more braided line hooked up to a dual feed fuel rail for the carb.

I am trying to select a FPR but I don't know what psi I need to feed my CC503 and DIY ported heads setup, or even what CFM carb so I am also trying to decide on them too.

Do you have return lines to your fuel tank?

Also a question to guys who know the electrics of LT1 F-bodies, what modifications do I need to the ignition key switch because it won't be running off the PCM anymore.

Would I just need to re-wire it for the starter with a relay?

bumping

if you dead head the system..just running a 12-803 reg..i would go from after the filter to the reg..set your reg a 6psi flowing to carb..

or you could run a bypass style reg and run a return line

one of the carb guys needs to make a how to or parts list..

I don't see why you couldn't run a similar system to what I run on my car....

Walbro 255lph pump in tank
Aeromotive Return Regulator
Russels adaptor fitting to go from OEM steel fuel lines to 6AN
