Default Injector Question

I have a 95 lt1 with 68k on it. I just recently put a fuel pump in it because the last one took a crap and the car ran awesome. But now whenevr i drive it for more then 15-20 mins it chokes up and seems to die and then throws a code and comes back to life. Anyway my question is how do i check my injectors and/or clean them? Everything else that could be replaced has been, injectors are the only thing left. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks

You are getting a code, so the next logical step is to scan the PCM. That's why the code is there.

IMO, it is very unlikely that the injectors are the problem.

DTC 33 is Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Circuit, Signal voltage high, meaning low vacuum.

Code 33 is set under these conditions: less than 3% throttle angle, MAP greater than 80 kPa, MAP greater than 90 kPa with A/C on, RPM greather than 500 RPM.

Basically you have an issue with your MAP sensor (located on top of the intake manifold just behind the throttle body on the passenger side). Either you have a substantial vacuum leak somewhere, the MAP is bad, or the MAP sensor is shorted to ground.

what fuel pump are you running?

I put a 255 intank pump in when mine went and the shop that did it did a **** poor job. The car ran like **** untill i had someone else re do it. So if this sounds similar I would look at the pump.

I dont think its you injectors, i agree with RamAir95

Walbro 255...yea i agree with him there too it makes sense. The only reason i thought it was injectors was because that is the only thing i havent replaced on the car. Haha my luck with it has been horrible
