HELP.....my Z wont start

i got a 94 z28 that ran fine. it rained for a few days and then it wouldnt start. i checked the air filter and it was pretty moist in some spots. ive tried numerous times to try to start up but it wont. my friend tried sprayin starting fluid into the throttle body but all that did was shoot fireballs out (which was pretty awesome) and now im at a stand still.

Do the basics. Check for fuel and spark.

Optispark. Sounds like it isnt sealed properly.

Let it dry out and give it another go in a day or so. I bet it will fire then.
