Need some help with hypertech

I have a hypertech for my 96 Z28. Does anyone know if it works with my 95Z28?

no it will not. 96 is obd2, 95 is obd1

The big question would be if the POS even works in a 96. Hypertech is junk, makes less power than stock, runs rich, etc. Best advice is to open the garbage can, take 5 steps back, and see if you can sink it on the first shot. Just my .02 though

It's not entirely worthless. If all you want to do is reprogram for gears and cooling fan operation it's okay, but the "Power Tuning" is garbage as mentioned.

I agree, gears, tires, fans, shift points and removing the speed limiter.
BTW, the 96-97 HPP is unique in the line, OBDII LT1, and will work with both years.
