Exclamation Sudden bogging :(

Hey guys I have a 96 fully rebuilt lt1. With a CC 503 and Lt pacesetters. Just recently my car has started to bog when I apply the gas. This only happens like every other time. If I quickly let go of the gas and apply hit again it'll run strong but when it begins to bog when I apply the gas I lose tremendous power and my car sounds like ****. The rpm slowly increase also. To me it's a sensor cause it only sometimes happens. What could this be guys? I haven't been on here for awhile since she's been running strong and wrk has been hetic. But if I could get some help that'd be great. Thanks guy. I know Im leaving alot out just ask please. Im at work on my iPhone lol.

You're pretty damn impatient. Can't even wait 12 hours for a solution. What do you think this is, answer-o-matic? Most people are out on a Saturday night. Sorry we aren't around to check up on your problems.

I'll read your post in the morning once I pass out drunk. Rah rah rah!!!

the pink wire on the MAF ( which im assuming is the power supply) is kinked and almost looks gashed a lil bit. Could the MAF do all the following symptoms?

Does it do it when its hot only or when you first crank it? I wouldnt tare into the opti yet try unplugging the maf while it is running see if it changes the eng any? Also could be the 02's just have to trouble shoot it.

Check, double-check, and re-check the plug wires and plugs themselves. When cylinder pressures increase (under load), there is more demand on the ignition system. A weak plug or plug wire will usually rear it's head under these conditions. Take a look and see what you come up with.

What code are you getting for the MAF? You should have between 4 and 6 volts on terminal A of the MAF sensor and ground with the key on, engine off. If it's less than 4 volts, then the harness is shorted to ground. If it's over 6 volts then the wire is shorted to 12v+. I suggest you fix the wiring problem and see if that helps.

If you have the capability to monitor the O2s, I'd do that as well and see what you come up with.

Quite honestly, why haven't you checked this while you're waiting for other people to hold your hand and walk you through the process?

It does it at any temp of the engine. How do you trouble shoot the 02's? I do have some oil accumulating around the opti..

no difference when having the MAF unplugged or plugged in.

Here ill try to describe all the symptoms..

Sometimes my start ups can be rough
My idle now is complete ****, almost wanting to die on me when i put it in R or D
Before all of this happen, this would randomly happen but it was nothing as sever as this. It would only bog for like a sec and then it would kick back in.
Now i press the gas and it bog and i suddenly have no horsepower..its crazy. Its like all slow motion. (The Rpms rasie very slowly and all) Now if i let go of the gas and push it to the floor very quickly it will catch on and pull HARD. But i just took it out and it was almost constantly bogging..
its like my problems increased to a whole another level!

Almost everything is new in my car.
For fuel: New Fuel pump and filter and injectors.
For Ign: New coil and ign, new wires and plugs, new opti
i know im missing alot guys

it could be your coolant temp sensor. if its giving the pcm a wrong readout (ex:-45F it will over fuel) get a scan tool and look at all the temp sensors and see if any seem off?
