Default Head light swap..Bulb number question

I went to wally world today and bought the 9006 bulb so i could have a whiter light. Now is the 9006 bulb a low beam bulb? if it is do i use the same 9006 bulb for the high beams? or is there a different number for the high beams? thanks

I know my LT1 TA has a sealed beam headlight, and you can not just put a new bulb in it like that. You have to buy the whole assembly, unless you want to do some custom work, which I don't think is worth it unless you are going to HIDs. I believe the camaros are the same way, sealed beam headlights.

A 9005 would be the high beam.

Good job, thanks for the link. I will be doing some custom work on mine when I go to HIDs. Hopefully it works for TA's too.

Does anyone sell the converted low and high beam lights, I don't feel like fumbling with it if I don't have to, I prefer plug and play?

these lights are plug n play, you just have to take out your sealed ones and pop in the new ones

So when you break the seal and get the factory bulbs out, you just unplug the factory bulbs, plug that same plug into the new bulbs, and seal them in the housing with some silicone?
